Activation

Before you can use DataStore you will need to activate it. When you download DataStore you will be sent an activation code. You can use this to activate DataStore from the Viewer by Help -> Activate, or a button on the Designer start page. You then have 2 options. The first is the easiest and quickest. However, security concerns, or your organisations use of proxies/ firewalls, may exclude this option.

  • Enter your email address and activation code. Press Activate Now. This will send a request to our server, and store the returned licence.

    • or

  • Enter your email address and activation code. Press Activate Online. This will display another dialog.

    Click the "Get Licence" link. This will retrieve the licence using your default browser. Copy the licence from the browser and paste into this dialog. Then press Activate.
